CHIHULY IN THE BOTANIC GARDEN

Inspired by his mother’s love of gardens and his own connection to nature, Chihuly embarked on a creative journey, that in 2001, led him to present his remarkable work in botanic gardens across the USA, as well as London's Kew Gardens and Singapore's Gardens by the Bay.

Adelaide is the first city in Australia to host a major garden exhibition by Chihuly.

Uniting art & nature, Chihuly's garden exhibitions are designed to respond to and complement the beautiful settings they are placed in. Each offering distinct day and night visitor experiences throughout the seasons.

CHIHULY IN THE BOTANIC GARDEN GIN

To commemorate Chihuly's Garden Cycle exhibition making its Australian debut, exclusive to Adelaide, we’ve carefully sourced botanicals found within the Adelaide Botanic Garden, bringing to life a gin that’s colourful, and inspired.

This gin captures the essence of nature’s beauty and creativity, delivering an experience as vivid and dynamic as Chihuly’s iconic sculptures.

CRAFTING THE GIN

Drawing on the stunning botanicals from the Adelaide Botanic Garden, our Head Distiller, Hugh Lumsden, worked closely with the Adelaide Botanic Garden horticultural team to find the perfect and most unusual botanicals to create this unique recipe. The botanical list includes kumquat, fruit-salad sage, Buddha’s hand citrus, and honey sourced directly from the Botanic Garden’s beehives and more, each sip is a sensory journey through the garden itself.
