TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bootleg Box membership is your ultimate convenience in quality gin delivery, in a package which delivers exceptional value. The following terms and conditions apply to your Bootleg Box membership. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email us on bootlegbox@prohibitionliquor.co
By becoming a member of Bootleg Box, you agree and acknowledge that you will be purchasing the Bootleg Box gin package that will be shipped to you quarterly by Prohibition Liquor Co.
Once you sign up for a Bootleg Box membership, you will be billed on the 1st of the following month and your box will be delivered shortly after. Subsequent deliveries will schedule every three months from your first delivery.
A credit card must be supplied to register as a Bootleg Box member. You consent to supplied credit card details being kept in a secure payment gateway to allow automatic processing of payment for your Bootleg Box gin package purchase and shipment.
Payment for your Bootleg Box gin package will be processed on the 1st day of each month in which a shipment is scheduled and your box will be shipped shortly after, subject to the successful processing of payment. Shipments will not be made if payment cannot be processed to the credit card details supplied.
Your Bootleg Box gin package will be varied each quarterly shipment, in the discretion of Prohibition Liquor Co and as indicated on our website.
No changes or substitutions can be made to the Bootleg Box gin package. You can pause your subscription within 48 hours of the next scheduled delivery. To pause, access your account here and select "Subscriptions", choose your Bootleg Box subscription, scroll down and select "Skip This Order".
You can cancel your Bootleg Box membership and your agreement to purchase quarterly Bootleg Box gin packages any time, up to 7 days before the 1st day of a scheduled quarterly shipment month. If you'd like to cancel your Bootleg Box, you can do so 7 days prior to the next scheduled delivery by contacting bootlegbox@prohibitionliquor.co or by calling us on 08 8155 8007. Whilst you can cancel your membership, we think you’ll enjoy the value so much you’ll want to keep receiving your quarterly Bootleg Box gin packages.
After you have provided a delivery address and credit card details on joining Bootleg Box, it is your responsibility to notify Prohibition Liquor Co of any change to delivery address or credit card details. Prohibition Liquor Co takes no responsibility for lost or incorrectly delivered shipments in the event of a failure by you to notify a change of delivery address details.
Prohibition Liquor Co also takes no responsibility for matters that arise from a failure by you to advise of any change of credit card details, including the charging of a non-preferred credit card of the absence of a shipment due to a payment processing failure.
Bootleg Box members must be 18 years of age or older, and by joining Bootleg Box you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Prohibition Liquor Co reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions. Should the terms and conditions change, Members will be notified via the email address provided.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Our Returns Policy is based upon your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see below) and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights Australian Consumer Law:
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage to the product. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If your purchase is damaged, faulty or wrongly described or breaches a consumer guarantee you will receive a refund or exchange of the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase. If your purchase incurred a delivery fee, we will also pay the reasonable cost of delivery for the return if Prohibition Liquor Co is at fault. For example, if the wrong product is delivered, the product is faulty or there is a breach of a consumer guarantee.
Prohibition Liquor Co will not be liable for refund on change of mind after purchase or because of any failure to cancel your membership of Bootleg Box 7 days prior to the 1st day of a scheduled quarterly shipment month.
PRODUCT DELIVERY POLICY
Deliveries will be shipped from Prohibition Liquor Co, 22 Gilbert Street, Adelaide SA, as soon as possible after successful payment processing. Receipt of delivery to purchaser’s address is dependent on purchaser’s proximity to Adelaide and may range from overnight to seven days from day of dispatch.
At this time alcohol deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes or anywhere outside of Australia. In the instance that the recipient has provided incorrect or out-of-date details, Prohibition Liquor Co is not liable for incorrect or unclaimed delivery.
Prohibition Liquor Co offers the opportunity to provide delivery instructions to have goods left at point of delivery. All efforts will be made to ensure these instructions are followed but it must be clear that the customer takes on this option at their own risk.
Alcoholic goods will NOT be delivered to persons under the age of 18 years and Prohibition Liquor Co may request that the person who receives the goods provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age. Anyone at the Member’s Delivery Address who receives the Shipment will be presumed to be authorised to receive the Shipment on the Member’s behalf.
Prohibition Liquor Co must be notified of damage caused to goods during shipping, within 3 days of delivery. Replacement of goods will be coordinated by Prohibition Liquor Co provided there is satisfactory evidence damage was caused during transit (Photo evidence may be requested).
